Thank you for supporting Bookish Musings!” I heard a lot about The Midnight Library by Matt Haig a nd after seeing Namjoon read it (my bias 💜), I knew I had to read it.  After finishing it, I can confidently say that this book gave me a new perspective on life and was just what I needed during a tough phase. The only reason I am not giving it a 5-star rating is because it took me a while to finish this book, including the many times the excitement to read it died. Away from you – Reflections on Lost Love

A poem about moving on and dealing with heartbreak 💖 A year later, you swear that I have changed too much. You glance at me and hate when I smile more. I look back, and your eyes hold only hatred for me, But I manage to smile and walk away from you. There was a time when you said you adored me. We sat on the park bench together every evening. I shared my earphones with you as we talked, Now I sit in the same place for hours, all alone. You say I left you behind to chase my dreams, but you refuse to speak of the time you left me. You tried to find in others what I once gave you, When no one valued you like I did, you came back. You have come to my house so many times, screaming insults, but I no longer talk back. You say I forgot you and all you did for me, But my heart remembers both the smiles and the hurt. You refuse to believe me when I say I still love you. You claim I have changed, but I know you have too. You came back as someone I barely recognize, So different from the one who...

If you’re a fan of fairy tale retellings , especially Beauty and the Beast with a dark twist, this book is for you! 🖤 Autumn Kaufer masterfully blends the essence of the original story with her own unique elements—especially a vampire beast! 🧛‍♂️ Mina and Dracke make such a sweet pair. Their emotional journey had me hooked, and Dracke’s heartfelt letter? It left me in tears! 😭 The intimate scenes were beautifully written and added depth to their relationship. I’ll admit, it took me a little while to warm up to Mina, but by the end, I adored her. That being said, Dracke and Celine totally stole the show for me. 😍 The ending was absolutely satisfying, making this retelling a delightful read for fantasy and romance lovers alike. If you’re looking for a unique twist on a beloved classic, Kingdom of Forgot...
