I heard a lot about The Midnight Library by Matt Haig and after seeing Namjoon read it (my bias 💜), I knew I had to read it. After finishing it, I can confidently say that this book gave me a new perspective on life and was just what I needed during a tough phase.

The only reason I am not giving it a 5-star rating is because it took me a while to finish this book, including the many times the excitement to read it died. But now that I have finished it, I can tell it was a must-read for my situation.

With my mental health declining lately, I could relate to Nora. Her desperation and her journey had me questioning my own life and gave me a new perspective about things. Without giving any spoilers, I want to say that I had kind of predicted how this book would end. But that did not stop me from enjoying the entire story from start to finish and being speechless multiple times while reading.

Why You Should Read The Midnight Library :

If you’re looking for a thought-provoking, life-changing read that explores the “what-ifs” of life and offers hope during difficult times, this book is definitely for you. It’s one of those books that I know I’ll come back to repeatedly, and I highly recommend it to everyone, especially if you’re feeling a little lost or overwhelmed.

Final Rating: 🌟 4.2/5 (Rounded to 4)
