I’ve been in a bit of a romance mood lately—and this week, that meant diving into some MM romances that totally swept me off my feet. It’s one of my comfort genres, and I discovered some amazing new authors this week (and month)!

From sweet slow burns to steamy page-turners, each book had something unique that kept me hooked. If you’re on the hunt for your next queer romance read, maybe one of these will hit the spot. Let’s get into it!

📚 1. Pucked Up by Frankie Abraham

Final Rating: 4.5 out of 5

I don’t have any notes. This was amazing. It made me think a lot, and even inspired me to return to a WIP I’ve been working on for years.

The characters weren’t perfect, but they were so very real it ached at times. Micah struggles a lot. So does Noah. But Noah also heals him in some ways.

I’m not usually a dark romance girlie, but this was a pleasure to read. Their story is beautiful, even though it starts on a painful note. This book will stay in my mind for a while, that’s for sure.

📚 2. Advanced Chemistry by A.J. Truman

Final Rating: 3.5 rounded up to 5

This felt like a comfort read—only with three hot guys who have amazing chemistry. I’ve loved getting to know this friend group across the books, and this one made me fall for Chase even more. He’s such a darling. :)

Highly recommend this author in general if you enjoy swoony MM romances! This was my second book by them, and I had a good time 💖

📚 3. Finding Delaware by Bree Wiley

Final Rating: 4 rounded up to 5

Giving this more than 4 stars feels off somehow—there’s a lot of trauma in this book. I had to take several breaks because the toxic relationship between the MCs got heavy.

But their love won me over in the end. The tender moments had my heart in a frenzy and made it worth sticking through the emotional ups and downs.

This one’s definitely heavy, so please check the content warnings. But if you want a story about a couple facing real-world issues and earning their happy ending, this one might be for you ❤️

📚 4. For the Fans by Nyla K.

Final Rating: 4.25 out of 5

Read this because of an Instagram rec—and now I have a new favorite MM romance author! Changed my life. Truly. I’ve read it twice already and might read it again after I post this 😂

The only reason I didn’t give it a full 5 stars is the slow start. But once things picked up? Oh. My. God. I completely fell for Avi and Kyran.

This was incredibly hot, with emotional moments that had me throwing pillows and crying more than once. The chemistry was chef’s kiss. If you love forbidden romance and emotionally charged stories, don’t skip this. I’ll definitely be reading more from this author soon.

📚 5. The Prince and the Player by Nora Phoenix

Final Rating: 4 out of 5

Not too many deep thoughts here—just a super cute read with undeniable chemistry and a fun trope I always enjoy. I love MM romances with royalty, and this one didn’t disappoint 💗

Tore is a cutie and hilarious, too. This was my first book by Nora Phoenix, but I’m definitely interested in reading more ❤️

🌈 Bonus!

If you're also into sapphic romance, don’t miss my recent review of a swoony lesbian rom-com:
👉 The Honeymoon Mix-Up (Sapphire Isle #1) by Frankie Fyre
