I just finished this one, so sit down and grab a drink. This will be a long one sighs in preparation . First of all, gosh damn!! This was my first-ever witch book, and what an incredible introduction to the world of witches. The story started as one of the coziest books I’ve read in a long time, but by the middle, I was an emotional mess — angry, sad, and everything in between! Now that I’ve finished, I’m left with bittersweet emotions. I want to re-read it already. It was that good! 🧙‍♀️ Maggie: A Perfect Lead Maggie is an amazing woman — gentle, smart, and warm. Her aura made me smile, and I was so excited to follow her journey. There was nothing about her that I disliked. She was the perfect lead for this story, and her time in the new town was heartwarming to witness. 💔 Basil: A Complex, Intriguing Character No...

Having read The Guard , needless to say, my expectations for every book in this series are astronomically high. And now that I’ve just finished The Dust Collector , I’m once again left amazed by Eryn McConnell! Walking through the desert with Darius made me thirsty — the scenes were written so vividly that I felt every step he took. Engaging With the Author Made It Better It was fun tweeting about my progress and discussing the book with Eryn while reading. It made the journey feel even more personal and immersive. Eryn’s ability to craft morally grey characters that tug at your heartstrings is remarkable. Darius was no exception. Despite knowing...

I just finished reading Double Blank , and I need the sequel immediately! This was my first time reading a dystopian novel, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. But since I loved Elise’s first book, I knew I was in for a treat. Needless to say, Elise has once again created a masterpiece. I cannot tell you how much my heart breaks for Jorah. He went through so much in this book, yet he managed to grow as a person. His character was crafted beautifully, and I loved every bit of his journey. The woman-centered society was a refreshing concept. It was fascinating to imagine a world so different from my own. But there was also a lot that made me angry, which is why I found myself rooting for rebels like Joran, Wen, Logan, and Melissa. The side characters were amazing! Toby, my god, I loved him so much! Despite his actions...
